For many theatres and performing arts venues all over the world, donations are a key part of what keeps the business running and funds new projects, and a lot of effort goes into tracking donation drives and managing the relationship with key donors.
To help support this critical part of operations, Activity Stream is pleased to announce that we are now adding donation and fundraising features to our platform. The new features will draw on all the core capabilities of the platform, giving fundraising teams unique opportunities in understanding donation patterns, targeting their efforts, and getting a full view of key donor interactions.
The Features
The new donation features allow our clients to track exactly how much they receive in donations and what sources they come from. This is easily done in the Activity Stream platform, where you can get a breakdown of all your incoming donation. This means that you can see both your large donors and small donors in one place and draw comparisons between them.
To help you to understand your donors, we have also incorporated some of our tagging features into our new donation tools. This means that you can quickly access a list of all of your first-time donors, as well as repeat donors.
Next up is creating observations to alert fundraisers of key opportunities, like if a top donor is not following the donation pattern, as well as building donations into customer profiles to enable teams to set up segmented campaigns. Drawing on all existing data in the platform, fundraising teams will also be able to explore patterns across donors, like specific demographics, buying behavior and much more.
The Benefits
With the new tools, fundraising teams will be able to easily monitor campaign efforts, identify trends and channel performance, as well as manage relationships with top donors.
With the built-in segmentation options, the team can easily set up campaigns aimed at bringing back lapsed donors, or identify key opportunities. Add to that the notifications and deep insights into each top donor, and you’ll see smiles all across the fundraising team.
