About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate Community and Content Lead to join our marketing team to elevate our brand’s presence, foster engagement with live event marketers, and build a thriving community around our brand. This role blends content strategy, community collaboration, and thought leadership development to position Activity Stream as the go-to platform for event marketers.

What You’ll Do

Community Engagement & Growth

  • Develop and execute engagement programs with ongoing content creation, webinars, AMAs, and networking events.
  • Build and manage a community of live event marketers through social media, forums, and exclusive groups.
  • Gather insights and feedback from the community to influence product improvements and marketing strategies.

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Create compelling content—including videos, audio recordings/podcasts, blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and social media posts—that educates, inspires, and empowers event marketers.
  • Develop and execute a content calendar that aligns with brand messaging and industry trends.
  • Partner with key industry influencers, clients, and thought leaders to produce collaborative content.
  • Own and optimize content performance through best practices, A/B testing, and data analysis.

Thought Leadership & Brand Positioning

  • Lead the development of proprietary reports, industry insights, and AI-driven marketing tools to position Activity Stream as an innovator in event marketing.
  • Work closely cross-functionally and with leadership to craft speaking engagements, panel discussions, and guest articles.
  • Ensure brand voice remains expert, confident, and storytelling-driven across all channels.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 (or more) years of experience in content marketing, community management, or digital marketing—preferably in SaaS, tech, or live events.
  • A passion for live events and an understanding of the challenges event marketers face.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging, high-value content.
  • Experience producing, building, and editing video and audio recordings.
  • Ability to analyze content performance and adapt strategy accordingly.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teams.

    • For US Candidates: $55,000-65,000; $60,000-70,000 for candidates in the NYC and LA markets
    • For UK Candidates: 35,000-40,000 GBP

Job Title: Account Executive, UK&EU Market
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

Activity Stream is seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Account Executive to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing sales opportunities within the live entertainment, ticketing, and cultural sectors. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a deep understanding of the live entertainment industry, has a proven track record in SaaS and/or technology sales, and possesses the ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers.

What will you be doing?

  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified leads through collaborating with business development on proactive outreach and networking.
  • Engaging with prospects to understand their unique needs and present tailored solutions that highlight the value of Activity Stream’s platform.
  • Conducting product demonstrations, sales presentations, and contract negotiations to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Developing strong, long-term relationships with clients and industry partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborating with marketing and product teams to provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.
  • Meeting and exceeding individual sales targets and contributing to the overall revenue growth of the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally with a focus on the live entertainment, ticketing, or visitor experience industry.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Hubspot or similar) and G-Suite; familiarity with other sales tools is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Activity Stream, a rapidly growing tech company with a global presence, specializes in SaaS platforms for marketing intelligence, patron engagement, and venue management. As we expand further into the North American market, we’re seeking a talented Business Development Representative to join our US team. While we prefer candidates in the northeast, this is a remote position open to qualified individuals passionate about live events, arts and culture, and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with live events professionals, understanding their needs and challenges.
  • Qualify leads through impactful discovery calls, gaining deeper insights into organizational requirements.
  • Manage outbound sales campaigns via emails, calls, and virtual meetings.
  • Contribute to our CRM system, adding, updating, and sourcing information to grow your pipeline.
  • Maintain a strong product knowledge and continuously develop an understanding of our offerings and market positioning.
  • Occasional travel (10%) to relevant conferences and industry events.
  • Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of business development, telefundraising, or box office experience.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting targets.
  • Strong curiosity and a willingness to understand new concepts with an always learning mentality.
  • Genuine desire to engage with people in the live entertainment/arts and culture industry.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to succeed as part of a high-performing remote team.
  • Experience in theater, live entertainment, or a strong passion for these fields is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems, ESPs, or analytics platforms is a plus.
