What we do and who we do it for

We provide amazing software tools to people who make great experiences, from gigs and festivals to arenas, theaters and sporting events around the world. We have operations all over the world but our new corporate HQ is based in New Haven and we are looking for a number of people to join our team as we build from the ground up. We need people to help connect event organizers and administrators with our tools, helping them understand the value the tools can bring them, to help them find and build audiences, engage with ticket buyers and attendees to provide extra services and merchandise, and to grow them from one time attendees to life time fans.

Activity Stream is a fast-growing International technology company, actively growing in new markets.

They have an open position DevOps/SysOps engineer with an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role • Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows • Linux Fundamentals and Scripting Skills • Be familiar with Version control, continuous integration servers(CI), configuration management, containers, deployment automation and network protocols • Experience in cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GPC) and Microsoft Azure. • Experience using Terraform and Ansible • Working knowledge of databases • Good coding and scripting skills as well as knowledge in programming languages like Node.js, Java, Javascript, Python • Understanding of proactive monitoring • Problem-solving attitude • Be familiar with container-related tools like Docker Swarm and Kubernetes. • Good Communication, Collaboration and Mentorship skills • Be fluent in English

• Manage Linux servers – and cloud environment • Take part in developing the platform for running our services - fault tolerance, monitoring, alerting, etc. • Take part in developing and improving deployment pipeline • Disseminate knowledge to the team members in the organization about how code makes its way to production. • Taking part of the on-call 24/7 monitoring of mission critical technology and first response to alerts. • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats • Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues • Other tasks at the direction of direct management.
