Job Description Summary

Activity Stream is on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to help us drive our sales efforts and promote our innovative solutions in the market. If you have a background in B2B business development, possess strong communication skills, adopt a direct approach and embrace a hands-on mentality, this role is perfect for you. Additionally, if you have experience in SaaS or a keen affinity for live entertainment and theater, you will be given extra consideration.

Activity Stream is a fast-growing international technology company with offices in Belgium, Denmark, Belgium, Scotland, and the USA. The office in Ghent, Belgium, is actively seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team.

What will you be doing?

- 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: A minimum of 2 years in business development/lead generation, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment. - 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬: Self-motivated, proactive, and dedicated to excelling within a high-performing sales team. Possesses a solution-driven mindset. Demonstrates direct communication skills with a collaborative spirit and values feedback. - 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬: Proficiency in both Dutch and English is essential at a professional level, and knowledge of German is considered an asset. - 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬: Exhibits excellent time management and organizational skills and is capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. - 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬: Experience with CRM systems. Possesses an analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making. - 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞: Experience in theater, live entertainment, or a strong passion for these fields would enhance your application.

- 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Initiate cold calls and send mailings to book product demos with Sales Managers. Sales Team Support: Work closely with the sales team on targeted email campaigns. - 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Engage potential prospects, ask the right questions to understand the prospect’s needs, and assess potential compatibility with our products and services. - 𝐂𝐑𝐌 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Contribute to the improvement of our CRM system by updating and sourcing information to nurture our sales pipeline. - 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: Continuously collect data on market trends and competitor activities to inform our strategic decisions.
